It's been 25 years since the classic sitcom "Designing Women" ended on CBS but Deadline is reporting this week a reboot is in the works at Sony Pictures TV.

According to the site, the comedy's original creator Linda Bloodworth-Thompson is heading the new take on the series.

The Emmy nominated "Designing Women" ran for seven seasons - from 1986 through 1993. It follows the lives for four women and one man working together at an interior design firm in Atlanta, Ga. The show originally starred Dixie Carter, Annie Potts, Jean Smart, Delta Burke, Meshach Taylor, Alice Ghostley, Julia Duffy, Jan Hooks and Judith Ivey.

It's not been revealed which network the reboot will air on or who will start in the new version.

Deadline also reports Sony Pictures TV is also working on a reboot of "The Facts of Life." The company also produced the "One Day at a Time" reboot on Netflix.
