A YouTube video of a precocious 14-year-old radio host from West Virginia went viral this week after he made homophobic comments saying that being gay is a choice and that President Obama is making children around the country gay because of his support for marriage equality.

Caiden Cowger's homophobic rhetoric drew hundreds of thousands of viewers to his YouTube clip. The video shows the teen, who hosts the "Caiden Cowger" Internet radio show twice a week, telling his listeners that he is disgusted by watching his friends "turn to" homosexuality, which he says is a choice that Obama encourages, the New York Daily News reported.

"They are encouraging kids to think, 'Well, you know what? They're talking about being a homosexual and they're saying there's nothing wrong with being gay, so you know what, I think I might try that out for a little bit," Cowger said. "That is what's going on!"

He then goes on to say that Obama is advocating young boys and girls to "become" gay and that the president should be warning youth to turn away from homosexuality. He adds that he doesn't believe in bullying his gay friends and classmates, however.

"We've got about 30 teenagers in this county that I'm at that are homosexuals ... and it is sickening," he said.

"When you're trying to teach them the word of God and they consider that bullying ... I find that a big problem, not being allowed to convert other people to my religion," he said.

Cowger also targets Vice President Joe Biden and says that his politics should not support "perverted belief."

The controversial broadcast was first aired on May 26 but it recently made headlines this week. Since the episode was posted on YouTube, Cowger told the British newspaper the Daily Mail that his account has been hacked and deleted.

"I am being targeted. I am responding tonight," he told the Mail in a June 6 article. He has since created a new YouTube account and has responded to his critics.

The Mail notes that the teen has attacked Obama before and also urged the government to create "straight pride month."

"June is no longer one of my favorite months," he wrote on his website. "So Mr.President, so it is not discrimination, I want STRAIGHT PRIDE MONTH! I mean, fair is fair here!"

Cowger's original video has been removed but another user uploaded the radio broadcast. Watch the controversial clip below:
