A week ago Tuesday, The Gay and Lesbian Business Exchange (GLBX) presented their Seasonal Celebration at the Las Olas Fine Arts which once again was a fun event to Network and socialize. On Wednesday, Save Dade featured their Holiday party at the Bacardi building and that night they received a Miami-Dade County Proclamation naming that day SAVE Day on behalf of their pro-equality champions on the Commission and the Mayor. Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava presented it to SAVE.

Later that night, after months of online voting, Marytrini presented the Miami Flash Awards at Bailo Nightclub. Arriving, I found a beautiful red carpet with a step and repeat and, once inside, the club was packed. I was honored to accept the award for Hotspots, as we won Best Magazine. Congrats to all the producers and winners on a wonderful night.

On Thursday, Creative Male presented their annual Holiday Party that featured lots of libations, hors d'oeuvres, and boys modeling sexy gift ideas (my favorite part). A portion of the evening's proceeds benefited Miami Beach Pride. On Friday, Score featured their Christmas Party which was hosted by the Penny Back Boys with hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and music by DJ Ab followed by VJ Mac, and special performances by house pop band Lalinea.

Saturday started with the monthly Art Walk on Wilton Drive 7 to 10 pm. The featured artist was Kevin Peterson and his work presented at Art Frenzie. On Saturday, The Manor presents the premiere edition of Fierce Queens, as Mizz Cori presented over 30 of her famously fabulous drag queens, who were go-go dancing, performing, mingling and causing havoc. The night had great energy and was a great success. On Sunday, My TropiXXX presented their annual sit on Sexy Santa's Lap, and who doesn't like that? Later that night was the closing party of Johnny's, as Sean David gets ready to take us to the next level with the opening of his new club "le Boy" this Friday night, December 26 (check out the ad for details).

Wednesday, December 24

Zuckerello's is featuring a special Christmas Eve/Day menu which is in addition to their regular menu. Check out the ad in their website at Zuckerellos.com for exact items and prices.

Friday, December 26

The grand opening of Le Boy neighborhood bar (1243 NE 11 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale FL 33304) is tonight at 8pm and all weekend.

The Pride Factory presents an after Christmas sale with 25% off all boxed holiday cards and December Diamonds. In addition they will feature 20-30% off Underwear, Swimwear and Fashion and lots more in-store specials.

Saturday, December 27

The Manor premieres their new Saturday night promotionentitled Burst Saturdays. Tonight they feature International DJ Manny Lehman at the turntables and a performance by recording artist Erika Jayne. In the Latin Room and patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents Sabado Salvaje (Jungle Party) celebrating the birthday of Francina Holliday with hostess Viva Mirage, DJ Nena and special guest Erika Norell along with HOT percussionist Omar. 11 pm to 4 am with Go-Go Boys and no cover.

Bigger Saturdays at Score presents the last Saturday party of the year starring Erez Ben Ishay and live P*rn stars.

The Ramrod presents special guest DJ Barry Huffine (Bear Bash, Beach Bear, Tidal Wave, Atlanta Eagle, TBRU).

Village Pub's third night of Dueling Drag Diva's takes place at 9:45 pm, starring Joanna, ChiChi Rones, battling Tina Turner, Cher, Ursula and Karen and Cass. Trip Advisor call this show "Funny and Talented as hell." If you miss them tonight, catch their last appearance on Tuesday.

Wednesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve)

Georgie's Alibi Monkey Bar P-town/FTL is featuring 2 parties with 2 DJs inside and outside. They will also feature balloon drops, a champagne toast at midnight and a live performance by The Ladies of Soul.

The Manor presents Winter Wonderland, with a live performance by recording artist Gioia Bruno of Expose and featuring the sounds of DJ David Knapp. They will also feature performances by Sasha Lords, Serena Cha Cha and Erika Norell, as well as a live Times Square simulcast, balloon drops, a champagne toast, NYE party favors, and much more. General admission is $20 until Dec 26 and the $25 until December 30. VIP Admission, which includes cover and open bar all night in the exclusive, furnished VIP lounge, is $75 until Dec 26, and then $80 until Dec 30th. Hunters presents a Red Carpet Event at Studio 54. They invite everyone to come as their favorite Studio 54 celebrity (Brooke Shields, Grace Jones, Divine, Andy Warhol, Bianca Jagger, Groucho Marx, George Clooney, Liza Minnelli) or as an 80s club kid. They will feature no cover, DJ Richie Rich, a balloon drop, champagne toast, hats, favors and more.

This is a 3 course gala pre-fixe dinner with the first seating at $35 and the second at $75.
