Last Wednesday, the Stonewall National Museum - Wilton Manors Gallery presented "Stroke: From Under the Mattress to the Museum Wall." Hunter O'Hanian, Museum Director, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art and Robert W. Richards, curator of the "Stroke" exhibition, presented a talk about the exhibit and the history and collections of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in New York City, the only accredited gay art museum in the world.

Hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), the "Love is Love" destination wedding last Thursday commemorated marriage equality in Florida, and coincided with Lance Bass making TV history the same day with the broadcast of his wedding with Michael Turchin on the E! Network special "Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding" - the first American television broadcast of a celebrity marriage between two men. The ceremony took place inside the W Fort Lauderdale and was extremely beautiful!

Thursday early Evening Equality Florida held their Broward Winter Florida Council Mixer at the beautiful waterfront home of Ken Hollander and John Kardos, where they honored the amazing Shannon Minter, Legal Director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights with a special 'Voice for Equality' award. Starting Thursday night, Floppy Roosters presented their 1st anniversary Party starring Adult Video Star Hunter Vance, live thru Saturday! They also featured giveaways, complimentary hors d'oeuvres on Friday, and raffles! Congrats to Paolo and all his staff on a fabulous naked year!

On Friday and Saturday, Le Boy presented comedienne Brad Loekle live at 11 pm. As suual, Brad was hilarious in his one-of-a-kind humor. Rumors celebrated their second anniversary on Saturday night starting 7pm with live music, Hawaiian dancers and fire dancers, and a free luau and pig roast from 7 - 9. There was also lots of drink specials, prize giveaways and a balloon drop. Congrats to Shawn, Brendan and all the other owners and staff for two fabulous years.

Discotekka in association with Milancita.com, Danny Villar Productions and Pure Haus Miami presents one of their infamous theme parties in honor of Valentine's Day entitled "Valentine Red Ball, Love Me Forever." This event stars DJ's Sushi (open Format 11-3:30) and DJ Carlos G for their famous La Puta Nota afterhours starting at 3:30am.
