Gay Twitter Sings in the Key of Thirst as Teddy Swims Rubs on Benson Boone

Gay Twitter let loose with a chorus of thirsty reactions as a viral video of R&B singer Teddy Swims rubbing down a shirtless Benson Boone circulated.
The video, posted by Boone to his Instagram Story, shows the 22-year-old "Slow It Down" singer being handily moisturized all over his chest and abs by Swims.
"There's no better moisturizer than @teddyswims," Boone jokingly captioned the clip.
The moment took place backstage "before one of their shows," People Magazine detailed. "The 'Slow It Down' performer and the 'Devil in a Dress' artist have both been performing at the 2024 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, the radio network's annual holiday celebration of pop music."
The video was quickly retweeted by thirsty X users, who were just as eager to offer their responses to the video.
The recording artists have plenty in common, both having released debut albums (Swims in 2023, Boone last year) that are due for followups in 2025. Each has found his way to the top of the Spotify rankings.
The two seemed pretty chummy at last month's MTV European Music Awards, as well.
This isn't the first time Boone has inspired thirst on the platform formerly known as Twitter. Fans thrilled when the pop singer left a concert venue in Cincinnati, Ohio on Sept. 30 wearing almost nothing but an American flag-patterned Speedo and boots. The memorable exit was recorded by a fan who posted the clip that promptly went viral and caught the attention of Gay Twitter.
Those Speedos also featured in a selfie Boone posted on Instagram two weeks earlier.
