Eminem's Rep Confirms Rapper was Joking About Using Grindr

Despite the Internet freaking out that Eminem said he uses the gay dating app Grindr (and Tinder) for dates, a rep for the rapper confirmed to Jezebel Tuesday that he was just kidding.

In a new interview with Vulture this week, Eminem discussed being labeled anti-gay over controversial lyrics. Later in the interview, the musician was asked about his dating life. Reporter David Marchese asks if he used Tinder.

"Yeah, Tinder," Eminem said.

"Really?" Marchese responded.

"And Grindr. I also used to go to strip clubs," the rapper responded, laughing.

Jezebel writer Rich Juzwiak reached out to Eminem's rep, who confirmed the rapper was kidding about using Grindr and Tinder for dates.

"I'm confirming that he was joking about using both Tinder and Grindr," they told Jezebel.
